How to Report An Incident of Internet Crime

Who to call

Contact your local police department. If you have received an offensive email, do not delete it. Leave it on your email so the police can track the sender.
Contact CyberTipline, the Congressionally mandated reporting mechanism for cases of child sexual exploitation, 24-hours per day, 7 days per week online or by calling 1-800-843-5678.
Contact your Internet Service Provider. You can report the crime to your provider and ask them to investigate where it came from.
