Berkshire South WIC Program free

The Massachusetts Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program provides nutrition and health education and other services free of charge to Massachusetts families who qualify. WIC's goal is to help keep pregnant, breastfeeding women, and children under age 5 healthy. WIC offers: Personalized nutrition consultations, checks for healthy food, referrals for medical and dental care, health insurance, childcare, housing and fuel assistance, and other services that can benefit the whole family. WIC also offers immunization screenings and referrals, breastfeeding support, nutrition and health workshops on a variety of topics including meal planning, maintaining a healthy weight, picky eaters, caring for a new baby, and shopping on a budget.

Funded through the Department of Early Education and Care, CFCE programs provide a variety of services, which include: providing families access to child development information, assistance with meeting basic needs, timely support in periods of family crisis, and family and community events. The Birth to Three Family Center is organized by the Ipswitch Public Schools.

Healthy Families is a home-based family support and coaching program that supports young, first-time parents and helps them create stable, nurturing environments for their children. You must be pregnant or parenting a child under the age of one, be twenty three or under, and live in Massachusetts in order to be eligible for services.
